About Transition 2 Hope

Transition 2 Hope is about helping those who are questioning what they (think they) know about God and the LDS Church (and its teachings and doctrines) … while helping bishops and other church leaders sincerely and thoughtfully grapple with the legitimate questions they are being asked. Genuine answers to genuine questions might not match some of the LDS Church’s talking points, but truth is worth pursuing. Especially truth about God. After all, most people who consider leaving the LDS Church feel theologically adrift, and are often ready to give up on God altogether.

Whether you are the "questioners" (LDS church members) or the persons being questioned (e.g., LDS bishops and other leaders), we want to help you flourish and thrive ... without giving upon on God.

Albert Spalding, founder of Transition to Hope, is nationally known for his professional ethics seminars, which he conducts for accountants and other professionals, corporate executives and employees, and other organizations. He also conducts seminars, conferences and round-table discussions for Christian pastors in the U.S. and globally. In both settings, Albert helps participants gain a better understanding of what they know about ethics, morality and God … and why they know what they think they know or believe. For nearly four decades Professor Spalding has also helped graduate and undergraduate students sort through these kind of questions, both in and out of the classroom.
